Missing Tigard Woman Found Safe in Multnomah County

Zainab Alothman, a 47-year-old woman from Tigard, was found safe in Multnomah County after a multi-day search that gripped the community.

She had last been seen leaving her Southwest 150th Avenue home on June 9, raising worries due to her lack of a cellphone and initial belief she hadn’t used public transit.

However, investigators later determined Zainab had traveled by public transit and was captured on surveillance video throughout the Portland area, shifting the search focus.

Community support proved vital, with residents reporting sightings and reviewing home security footage for information.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office expressed gratitude for everyone’s help, highlighting the unity of Tigard in times of uncertainty.

Officials remind residents to stay vigilant and report concerns to the sheriff’s office to help ensure community safety.
